ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

We strictly abide by environmental laws and regulations for all our business activities. The environmental management policy of Pacific Textiles aims to save energy, reduce consumption and pollution and increase efficiency, start from the source through strict control process, in order to become the pioneer of cleaner production in the industry. Pacific Textiles strictly manages the discharge of air, sewage and other solid waste by taking technical and management measures to reduce the impact on the environment and ecosystem.

Greenhouse Gas Emissions of PanYu Plant in 2030 decreases by 30% compared to 2019/20 per metric tonne of finished products	Water Intensity Target Achievement of PanYu Plant in 2025 decreases by 18% compared to 2020 per metric tonne of finished products


Environmental Engineering Projects We have launched a series of environmental engineering projects to reduce greenhouse gases emissions. Some of the environmental engineering projects are shown below:

		Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation System Power is generated by solar modules and inverters Environmental Benefits Reduce coal consumption and avoid fossil fuels’ impact on the environment Total Generating Capacity: 11.4 million kWh Annual Average Generating Capacity of 456,700 kWh

		New low-liquor waterflow dyeing machine The advanced new type of low-liquor ratio waterflow dyeing machine adopted in the production process costs less water and effectively reduces water consumption. Environmental Benefits Reduce water consumption in the dyeing process by about 40-50%

		NEDO Project A Sino-Japanese research project on energy conservation. Electricity and steam are generated with higher efficiency and reduced energy consumption by adopting the latest energy management system.

		Environmental Benefits Save 9,000 tonnes of standard coal each year
